Christmas 2011 is fast approaching and yet somehow, I hope we all take the opportunity to stop and reflect.  Reflect on the many ways that we have seen God’s hand at work this year. 

For Outreach Canada that was in the transformed lives of congregations and ministry leaders that we have had the privilege to work with this year.  It was also in the difficult circumstances that God has allowed some of our team members to pass through.

Through all of these we have seen God’s faithfulness, mercy, grace, love and peace.  Sometimes it was displayed through the actions of believers interacting and other times it was known only deep in an individuals heart as God’s Spirit brought the comfort and strength needed for the challenges of that day.

The message of Christmas is one of hope and unconditional love that is just as real and relevant today as it was when the angel’s voices could still be heard echoing over the quiet hills near Bethlehem.

We are thankful for all who partnered with us in our work in 2011 and we look forward to a new year encouraging the Body of Christ across Canada and around the world to continue sharing the message of “Good News for all people”.
