Bill Armerding
With his BA, Bill served in the Vancouver business Community as vice-president of three Trust companies. Leaving the business industry in 1989 he became involved in full time missions. He served on the Board of Inter Varsity for 17 years, founded a graduate Study Centre at Schloss Mittersill in Austria, reorganized a dormant ministry known as Overseas Council for Theological Education and Missions. He was a consultant to WEA and chaired the Church Review Team in the transition of their senior pastor at his home church Granville Chapel.
Bill lives in Richmond, BC with his wife Joy of 54 years. They have four grown daughters and six grandchildren. They worship at Granville Chapel in Vancouver.
Bill serves as project leader for OC's joint partnership with Evangelical Theological Faculty in Belgium, equipping leaders from Eastern Europe and Africa at the Ph.D. level.
