Don Klaassen
Communicating God’s heart for the nations is a passion of Don’s that influences almost everything he does. His cross cultural experience includes leading music drama teams in Asia and Europe, Tsunami relief work in Thailand, and evangelism in Latin America. He is a certified “Cat and Dog Theology” seminar leader and a Church Ministry Coach. He also has over 6 years pastoral experience.
Don loves to communicate God’s global purposes through storytelling, preaching, electronic media and personal interaction. He is a regular instructor with the Perspectives Course and specialises in the “least reached”. Don and Judy have three married birth daughters, three long term foster daughters and many others who are considered “extended family”. In his spare time Don can be found hanging out with grandchildren or working on home renovation projects.
Don joined Outreach Canada in 2009 when Centre for World Mission B.C. became part of O.C. Serving with O.C. is giving Don a stable and reputable platform to continue encouraging church leaders and mission teams to complete the Great Commission, including reaching across cultural barriers in their own neighbourhoods. Don is available for cross cultural ministry coaching and special presentations that move churches in the direction of doing what God is calling them to do.
