Matte, Gregg. Unstoppable Gospel. Grand Rapids: Baker Books, 2015.
Reviewed by Craig Kraft
Matte brings the first nine chapters of the book of Acts to life in this contextually relevant presentation of the Gospel as it was then and is now. Written to challenge the notion that today’s churches are irrelevant and that all we really need to do is follow Jesus, the author helps readers see themselves in the birth of the church. With current illustrations and lots of practical applications this book is a refreshing look at what it means to be a follower of Jesus and part of His church.
Unstoppable Gospel is a convicting read as Matte challenges us not to shrink away from the timeless message and challenge of the gospel.
