Dear Friends,
I am writing to share about the Courageous Movement with you. In a day when we are all looking for good entertainment as well as positive role models for society, Sherwood Pictures, the makers of Fireproof and Facing the Giants are back with their fourth release. Courageous tells the story of four police officers who unite to be as courageous in their homes as they are on the job. The movie depicts their commitment to family and to God as they steer their families to a renewed commitment to Christ.
Outreach Canada has partnered with Tricord Media, a division of Crossroads Christian Communication, and 20 other Christian ministries to bring this film to Canada on September 30th, 2011.
Not only is this a great opportunity for us to be challenged by a great film with a positive message, but it is also has great potential for us to invite our friends or encourage our church to get involved in “Courageous ministry.” I have seen the trailer and can’t wait to take my boys to see the full film. Will you join me?
I invite you to the special "Courageous Movement" section of our website where you can view previews of the movie and read articles indicating how you and your church can help men in Canada embrace their full role as fathers and husbands. There are also resources available for men and women as well as small groups. Visit www.courageouscanada.ca to learn more and to see the list of cities where “Courageous” will be playing.
In His Grip,

Rev. Craig Kraft
Executive Director
