Christian business leaders have the awesome privilege and mandate of serving as Christ’s ambassadors in the marketplace where God has called, placed, and deployed them. Although this task can seem quite overwhelming it is essential that Christian business leaders realize that they are not called to this purpose in isolation, but in partnership with other committed Christian leaders and resources that God has provided in addition to the local Church, in the areas of shared purposes, affirmation, connection, and equipping.
Most leadership experts say that the typical leader can mentor about four to eight people well. Jesus was the exception. Imagine how much more successful a Christian business leader would be if he/she could invest their time with their immediate leadership team by envisioning, strategizing, equipping, and spiritually mentoring them to be high capacity leaders in the business organization.
This is where Corporate Chaplains Canada comes in. Our purpose is not to take the place of Christian business owners/managers as “Spiritual” leaders in the marketplace, but to come alongside and partner with them by providing additional resources to the leaders and exemplary care to their employees, so that the leader can focus more on mentoring their leadership team and building their business.
Our proposal is to provide Leader Impact Groups with highly trained Chaplains to come alongside each Christian Business Owner/Manager to develop a “custom fit” portfolio of services intended to assist the employer through permanent, part-time, or occasional on site visits, intended to seamlessly compliment and augment the ministry of Ministry Impact Group.
