Philemon and and his wife Philisters have taught primary and secondary school for 20 years. During their last five years of teaching at a Christian high school in Zimbabwe, they realized that many of the students and leaders who called themselves Christians had a very shallow understanding of the Bible and Christianity.  It was then that he applied to Regent College in Vancouver, Canada to study to become a trainer of trainers. Upon the completion of his Masters degree in 2011 and Phylisters’ studies in 2012, the Baloyi’s will return to Zimbabwe to begin a ministry of developing leaders and pastors among the nations rapidly expanding African Initiated Churches.

Philemon and Phylisters have been blessed with four boys. Dumisani (22) and Dumela (21) continue to reside and study at home in Zimbabwe. Giyani (16) and Thulani (8) are currently at school here in Canada.
